The WWF Hasbro line ran between the years of 1990 to 1994, across 11 different series. For the most part, each new series introduced a different card colour and with varying numbers of figures released in each. From series 1 to series 6, the WWF Hasbro line in production used Neon Blue colours, series 7 on yellow cards, series 8 on red, purple for series 9, a darker blue for series 10 and finally the famous green cards for series 11. A number of unreleased prototypes have been found over the years, for example images and figures from one of the original line's artist and creators Ron Rudat. A number of 2-ups and test shots have also emerged. The Mailaway figures of Bret, Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker are amongst the most expensive in the series, and particularly hard to find still on their original bag. The line also had a number of different languages on card, such as French and Italian, and in some cases dual language. To this day, the nostalgia of the line captivates collectors from all over the world and auctions tend to be highly competitive, with collectors paying large sums of money in order to secure the final figures needed to complete collections.
